Vinous 88

Good bright medium red. Slightly reduced aromas of musky redcurrant, cherry and tobacco; I wanted more treble tones. Supple and vinous, but showing a lightly tart edge to its red fruit flavors. A wine of limited texture and nuance, suggesting modest flavor development. Finishes with dusty tannins. [Stephen Tanzer, 03/01/2016]
