What is your most memorable wine experience?

A wine tasting event at the Grand Hyatt ballroom, buzzed with anticipation of 60 esteemed winemakers and merchants. We shared comments with the sheer variety of wines. From the bold, earthy reds of Napa Valley to the delicate, floral whites of Burgundy. The atmosphere was wonderful, filled with lively conversations and the clinking of glasses. It was an experience that I will cherish forever.

If you could choose any wine from the CV Top 100, what would it be and why?

Champagne Salon 2008. It has a unique creamy, soft and subtle sweetness which makes it the ideal pairing with my favourite Japanese cuisine – Omakase and seafood.

You’re throwing a dinner party and can invite anyone, dead or alive. Who do you invite and what would be your signature food and wine pairing?

I definitely will host a party for my late beloved father to taste my collection of Soldera 2015, the wines I was purchased and specially cellared in the year that his grandsons were born. Amidst the chatter and laughter, I would share the stories and the exquisite taste of the wines that he missed all these years.
