What is your most memorable wine experience?
Over the years there have been so many memorable wines, dinners, functions, tastings and visits that to pinpoint just one would be impossible. For me, it has always been the people that I have shared incredible experiences with that I have cherished more than the wine.
If you could choose any wine from the CV Top 100, which one would you pick and why?
1989 Haut Brion. This is my ultimate desert island wine.
You’re throwing a dinner party and can invite anyone, dead or alive. Who do you invite and what would be your signature food and wine pairing?
My dinner guest would be Anthony Bourdain – we would enjoy the world’s finest seafoods with 1979 Krug Clos du Mesnil.
