Vinous 95-97

The 2022 Chambertin Clos-de-Beze Grand Cru has a perfumed bouquet with rose bush-infused red fruit, orange rind, forest floor, and light pencil box aromas. The medium-bodied palate is very tensile and poised with fine-boned tannins, gaining weight towards the finish that exerts a gentle grip. It’s the one cuvee I feel will benefit from as long an elevage as possible (within reason). Great potential. [Neal Martin, 11/01/2024]
