The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Caillerets 1er Cru has a nicely detailed bouquet of crushed stone and flint that opens discretely with aeration. A light fish scale scent/oyster shell comes through, saline and poised. The palate has a little more weight and girth than the other cuvees, and there is a little more extract than the Clos Saint-Jean on the finish. Bon vin.
